![]() ![]() R.: The production crew is Jake, Jon, Mike, Newt and Sam. ![]() Would you introduce us to the MN team? How many employees, who? Doing what? I’ve made most of my electronic music tools under the name SoundHack (since 1991). I have a computer engineering degree from UIUC, but self-taught after that. Soundhack telharmonic software#I’ve been a musician, music software and hardware engineer, DJ and recording engineer. Tom Erbe: I’m a professor of electronic music at UCSD. I got my first synthesizer manufacturing experience working for Moog Music and went on to found Make Noise Co. ![]() Tony Rolando: I am a musician and self-taught analog electronics engineer. Can you please briefly talk about your background? We want our instruments to be an experience, one that will require us to change our trajectories and thereby impact the way we understand and imagine sound.Īlso, we think what we do is fun and we hope you like it, too. We see our instruments as a collaboration with musicians who create once in a lifetime performances that push boundaries and play the notes between the notes to discover the unfound sounds. He invents computer music software and hardware, most notably the sound processing application SoundHack, the many soundhack plugins, and several ground-breaking synthesis modules developed with Make Noise Music. Tom Erbe has ben deeply involved and dedicated to electronic and computer music research, and creation. Heavily influenced by Buchla and Serge he managed to design and build some pretty strange, but thoughtful modular synthesizers. Make Noise was founded in 2008 by Tony Rolando, a self-taught electronic musical instrument designer who got started by obsessively reading amateur radio books at the public library, building electronics for artists, working for Moog Music, and playing in bands for many years. ![]()

![]() ![]() Some of the annoying help prompts in the 650 can be turned off, as I recall though it’s been awhile since I configured one. Flirc fire tv harmony full#Of course even without a touch screen remote, you can get full functionality by using the My Harmony app on your tablet or phone, with the exception of the IR emitter built into some of the harmony touch screen remotes which can be configured to supplement its RF capability. Flirc fire tv harmony update#When I get home I'll check my setup and update if anything I typed was incorrect.Logitech makes a series of touch screen remotes as well as the non-touch screen Companion that can be paired to the hub. ![]() I used the "Kodi" setting to program the play/pause and other buttons. In the Flirc software I used the "Nvidia Shield" setting for the Directional Pad and Back and Home buttons. So you configure the My Harmony software first (I used Flirc Kodi), then customize the buttons with the Flirc software. The button has to cause the remote to send something to the Flirc. ![]() I think what the person in the other thread meant was that for the button to work with a Flirc, it has to output some command that the Flirc can then change to something the Shield will work with. I then set up the Flirc software to copy the base buttons of the Shield Remote and program in the media buttons. Looking at the My Harmony software, I have the Shield set up right now as "Flirc Kodi." I remember setting up the Harmony to make all of the buttons active, even if they did things I wouldn't use the remote to do. I got it to work the way I wanted, but I can't remember exactly how I did it. I'm not sure how it works with the MyHarmony software though, or if there's any interactivity at all. I basically filled in all the Kodi buttons with the 350 remote, and saved the configuration in MyDocuments. On the Harmony, program the remote as anything not being used, like a MCE/Windows Media Center remote.īecause in MyHarmony, you program for devices like TVs and Set-Top Boxes, not for "Windows Media Center remote".Īlso I'm still not sure how the Flirc Software works, or if it somehow autosaves. The only ones that did work were basic navigation (arrows & select), pause & play, and mute.īut I don't understand what this guy answering means by Then I configured it as "Manufacturer: Flirc" "Device Model Number: Kodi" - which gave me more options, but 80% of the buttons on the Harmony 350 did not work, like volume, back, home menu, etc. I might as well have been using the Shield remote. Flirc fire tv harmony windows 10#Then in the Windows 10 MyHarmony software, I first tried configuring it with "Manufacturer: Flirc" and "Device Model Number: Shield TV" - as it says in the Flirc guide, but that gave me extremely limited button usage when connected to the Shield. In the Flirc Windows 10 software, I configure the buttons with a Kodi layout. I'm trying to program the Logitech Harmony 350 remote with a Flirc V2 USB dongle connected to my Nvidia Shield. Can anyone help with this? It's driving me nuts. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Good visuals for a Mega Drive and HD game, from The Dark Forest, to the Candy World, it's pretty good.Awesome boss fights, for example the Jack in the box fight, it's very good and makes you get up on your toes. The controls are well responsive, while the jumping feels a bit floaty, it controls pretty decently. The music never gets old, from the first level to the boss, the music is upbeat and it more relaxing in the remake.
